Unique One of A Kind Items
All items are hand stitched one bead at a time with great care and attention to detail. I sew every item by myself and work alone. While some items may be available in additional colors, they are all different due to variations in beads and color. I love using these variations to my advantage in creating individual pieces.
How this Beaded Journey Began
Hi and welcome to my world of sparkly things! I'm Carol Serbin and I‘m a graphic designer by trade with a specialty in packaging design. All of my items are handsewn/hand stitched. I started beading several years ago with straight stringing as most unassuming artisans do. Upon a dare from some friends who had given me a handful of the tiniest of beads, I found myself unexpectedly meandering into the world of beadweaving. Much to my friends amusement, (and my own) what started as a hobby soon became an obsession and passion. Alas, I too was bitten by the beadworking bug!
Many of my friends would join me for coffee, happy to leave with a piece of jewelry customized for them as we spent time together. Many gallons of coffee later, in a house overrun with beads, my husband asked me if I could please start selling some of my inventory to feed my habit! Behold! That’s exactly how my business was born!
Having said that, a great big thank you to all of my customers that have made this a wonderful adventure filled with sparkly shiny things! I couldn‘t do any of this without you and I am deeply grateful for your ongoing support and blessings of friendship! Xoxox

Hand Stitched Craftsmanship
All of my items are hand stitched. I personally sew each and every item by hand with a needle and 10lb Fireline brand triple braided nylon thread, exceeding the industry standard of 6 lb thread. Every bead is sewn into my work, one bead at a time. I use only Swarovski brand crystals and pearls in all of my sewn crystal and pearl pieces. Items are sewn in a variety of sizes and lengths ensuring there is something available for everyone regardless of size or fit preference. All bracelets, necklaces and anklets are finished with a snap clasp, also known as a ball and socket clasp. This makes it very easy to put items on with ease. Demonstration video of this clasp in use is available on my Etsy site. All items come with beautifully embellished gift box included.
